TESTIMONIAL
Juanita (Maryland)Honestly, the retreat was just what I needed. It was an amazing experience for me. I was able to step away from my day-to-day routine, disconnect from social media and its distractions, and truly connect with God.
I learned so much and also had the opportunity to meet beautiful people who are just as thirsty for the Lord as I am. Even though we may come from different backgrounds or denominations, we share one thing in common: the desire to grow closer to Christ more than ever.
Now, as I go back to my daily life, I am making a conscious effort to listen for God’s voice instead of trying to do everything on my own. The cherry on top was being able to pray at dawn before the sun rises with the ladies . I’ve always tried to do this on my own but never succeeded so that experience was truly special.
Those four days were perfect, and I wouldn’t change a thing. It was truly epic.
Eliane (Canada)The retreat was an unforgettable and truly memorable experience. It was my second women’s retreat within almost a six-month interval.
I was greatly blessed by the testimonies, the sharing, the simplicity of heart, the vulnerability, and especially by the leaders and organizers. I felt like I was among family from day one until the last day. I left feeling even more encouraged by the Lord, with an expanded family of sisters in the faith. I also had a good time to rest.
What I loved:
The location (quiet, close to the airport, and the house was big enough for everyone)
The timing of the activities was good (I did not feel rushed, especially in a society where people are constantly on the go)
The number of participants was perfect
The welcome and my gift bag
The price was reasonable, and I appreciated being able to pay progressively
The age range was good, so there was no big gap
I highly recommend the next edition. I have a friend (a wife and mom) in France who would love to attend.

Empower Retreat 2026 was one of my most beautiful experiences.
I experienced it fully—it was a moment for me to reconnect with myself. It brought me a lot of calm, clarity, and a beautiful inner energy that I still feel today.
I especially loved the atmosphere, the kindness within the group, and the way everything was organized with heart. Most of all, I appreciated the presence of the Holy Spirit during the times of prayer and discussions ❤️🙏🏾
And yes, without hesitation, I would recommend this retreat to someone. It is an experience that does you good, that helps you refocus, and that stays with you.
Thank you again for everything, Mrs. K and Mrs. Konaté 🤍
Danielle J (Silverspring)This retreat was something I had been preparing for physically, mentally, and spiritually since it was announced in August 2025. I was especially excited because March is my birthday month, so I saw this retreat as something truly special and meaningful.
The Lord Himself knows that I had planned to fully enjoy myself—to let go and have a beautiful time with my sisters.
To my surprise, a bad cold disrupted all my plans. But now, two weeks later, I realize that God allowed that storm to shake me. Through it, I experienced and felt the love of my sisters. They cared for me, took care of my health, gave me remedies, and covered me in prayers. That’s when I understood that I was at the right place, at the right time.
I would recommend this retreat to any woman seeking the face of God. To the one with a broken heart—she will find healing there.
And I will come back again myself, by God’s grace and will. Because this time away from the daily routine, close to God, has now become my personal yearly vacation—my one-on-one time with God and my sisters in Christ.
With love,
Danielle

My experience at the retreat was super intense and full of emotions!
I truly loved the atmosphere, the people, and the testimonies, and the Bible studies were excellent. It helped me refocus, boost my motivation, and grow in confidence. I especially enjoyed the sharing moments, the activities, and the delicious food 😋
Honestly, there’s nothing I didn’t like. I would 100% recommend this retreat—it was truly amazing.

Aimee (Gaithersburg)First of all, thank you for this initiative, which truly deserves to be applauded.
On my part, I really enjoyed this 2nd edition of the retreat. As a participant of the first edition, I would say that the second edition was an opening of the mind, a deeper understanding regarding the Christian life in general.
What I learned is that prayer alone is not enough; we also need knowledge and must put it into practice so that everything God has planned for us can come to pass.
It was also a moment of intimate testimonies, where each one of us left with either hope or an answer to our prayers.
I would recommend this retreat to all women who desire knowledge and an intimate moment with God, honestly. Each retreat has a unique element guided by the Holy Spirit.
I encourage you, Mrs. Konaté and Mrs. Ange Carole, to continue in this dynamic, and may the Holy Spirit continue to enlighten you as you build an army of strong women.
Grace (Gaithersburg)MY IMPRESSIONS ABOUT THE RETREAT
I honestly admit that I truly enjoyed this retreat, because of the good organization and especially the simplicity in how the four days were carried out.
Yes, I was expecting intense moments of warfare prayers and powerful worship. But I received exactly what my soul needed—just in a different way. Deliverance prayers, fasting, and intense prayer retreats are things I have done, and still do, very often. But during this retreat, something was different.
God met me in a way I did not expect. Not in the noise, not in what we are usually used to, but in a gentle and peaceful way. I felt my body relax and simply unwind. God was present in the stillness, in the exchanges, in the moments of edification, and in the Word.
Yes, there was no audible or well-known prophetic voice, but God was truly present in this holy spiritual rest.
I also appreciated the close, open, and genuine interactions and exchanges between each of us during this retreat.
